Citizen Science Water Quality Monitoring Program

collaboration for science

We have partnered with the Rocky Mountain Research Station and Colorado State University to set up a citizen science monitoring program in the upper Poudre watershed.

Our citizen science water quality monitoring program has three main focus areas:

·         Gathering baseline watershed conditions

·         Assessing post-fire recovery

·         Prescribed fire monitoring

Calling all citizen scientists

Volunteers will collect water quality data in specific locations in the upper watershed ~4 times a year. We will be holding several training opportunities for interested volunteers in Spring 2019.  If you are interested in becoming a citizen scientist with us please fill out the form!
