Cameron Peak Fire Recovery Partners completed aerial mulching in the Poudre Watershed on Friday, August 26th. The team completed 4,150 acres this summer, bringing the total area mulched to ~9,150 acres. Mulching operations have now moved to the Big Thompson Watershed. Thank you to all our partners and funders for supporting a successful 2022 season of aerial mulch treatments.

To complement mulch treatments, CPRW and partners will continue to plan and implement point mitigation projects this fall and into 2023, creating a mosaic of post-fire restoration treatments in priority areas of the Cameron Peak Fire burn area.
