WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Receive a simulated emergency notification from NOCO Alert.

  • Do not pre-pack your car; practice as if the notice caught you off guard.

  • Bring your evacuation kit or go-bag for review.

  • Pack your car as you would for a real evacuation.

  • Do not bring pets or livestock; service animals are welcome.

  • Proceed to the designated checkpoint or evacuation center as instructed.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE

  • Glacier View Fire Protection District residents

  • Renters

  • Property owners

  • Seasonal residents

  • Business owners

  • Community leaders

  • Frequent visitors and recreationists

BEFORE THE DRILL

  • Register by September 30th.

  • Make sure you are signed up for local emergency alerts.

  • Review your household evacuation plan and evacuation kit.

  • Watch for final drill instructions and route information.

DRILL AGENDA

  1. Receive the NOCO Alert exercise message.

  2. Practice packing and evacuating by vehicle.

  3. Travel to the Livermore Community Hall.

  4. Have your evacuation kit reviewed.

  5. 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.: resources, classes, and local evacuation professionals.
