Poudre RiverFest - Day 1: "Wildlife"

  • Coalition for the Poudre River Watershed 320 E. Vine Drive, Suite 121 Fort Collins, CO 80524 USA (map)

Join us for a day of ‘virtual wildlife watching’ as we explore the Poudre River’s native flora and fauna. Learn more about the Poudre’s diverse habitats, and why so many plants and animals are attracted to its banks. Along the way, we’ll encounter some of the most interesting inhabitants. You’ll also get some tips for exploring on your own and learn how you can help conserve and restore habitat for wildlife through everyday actions.

The Poudre RiverFest is a free, family-friendly festival that celebrates the Poudre River, promotes restoration, and educates people about our river corridor, an important natural resource in our community. The festival features engaging virtual content and safe in-person activities for children and adults to explore the role of the river as an important habitat for wildlife, a lively recreation area, and a source for clean drinking water.

The 2021 event will feature four (4) full days of programming centered around Wildlife (May 7), Recreation (June 25), Everyday Water (July 15) and Celebration (August 21)! All activities are FREE for participants. Learn more and RSVP for select events by visiting our Schedule.
