Little Cache Kernza Rye Ale Beer Release

Little Cache Kernza Rye Ale was brewed by Horse & Dragon, Odell Brewing Co. and New Belgium Brewing to celebrate and elevate the mission of the Coalition for the Poudre River Watershed (CPRW). This beer features kernza (a native Colorado grain!) grown at Native Hill Farm and malted by Troubadour Maltings, and rye and barley grown at Olander Farms and malted by Root Shoot Malting.  This beer is balanced yet flavor-forward, with a delicious combination of kernza nuttiness and rye spice.  A clean finish and smooth mouthfeel remind you that you're enjoying beer made with the amazing water from the Poudre River Watershed!

Join us for a progressive release party on Monday, June 8, from 2-5pm - we’ll have a toast at each of the breweries:

What’s in a name? We named this beer after the Little Cache La Poudre Ditch that supplies water from the Poudre River to Native Hill Farm where the kernza grain is grown. Enjoy that Poudre River Water with every sip!
